Sybren "Ivan" Slager

SLAGER,  Sybren "Ivan" - Surrounded by the love of his family. Ivan has gone to be with his Lord and Saviour at Woodstock Hospital on Friday October 4, 2019 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Ina (nee deKleer) Slager for over 64 years.  Loving father of Peter (Pauline) Slager, Clara Slager, Rob Slager and Marlene (Matt) Lynes.  Cherished grandfather of Becky (Chris), Jeremy (Lauren), Matthew, Erin, Christina, Rosanna (Dan), Sarah (Phil), Jessica (Aaron), Gloria (Justin), Chelsea (Garrit), Tyler (Amy) and will be remembered by his many great grandchildren.  Dear brother of Hille (Grace) Slager, Tilly DeKraker, Elsie (Charlie) Triemstra, and Mike (Carolyn) Slager. Predeceased by his brothers Charlie, John and Pieter .  Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Monday October 7, 2019 from 2:30 - 4:30 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 410 Lansdowne Ave., Woodstock on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Pastor John Moelker officiating.  Interment in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
