Richard Lawrence "Larry" Turvey
July 20, 1952 — November 11, 2024
Passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2024, at 72 years of age at the Woodstock Hospital. Beloved husband of Laura (nee Yungblut). Dear father of Rob (Janis) and Michelle Winkworth. Missed grandpa of Georgia and Grace; Kolten and Owyn. Survived by his sister Barbara (Keith) Waterfield and brother Doug (Lois) Turvey. Also survived by many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Larry was a long time member of the Woodstock Navy Club. Proud supporter of his grandchildren and all of their passions. Enjoyed woodworking and making keepsakes for people he loved.
If you so desire, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Woodstock Navy Club, 959 James Street, Woodstock on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 1pm-4pm.
