Nancy Mary Elizabeth Mohns

Nancy Mohns, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on December 2, 1944, in London, Ontario, Nancy's life was a testament to her unwavering spirit and dedication to her loved ones and her community.

Nancy's journey began as the beloved daughter of her parents in London, Ontario. She was a longtime resident in Thorndale and recently in Thamesford, Ontario. Widowed from her husband William, Nancy's legacy is carried on through her children Angela Doan, William (Tosha Tsang), and Michael (Ashley Johnston), as well as her daughter-in-law Stacey Mohns. Her life was further enriched by the joy of her grandchildren, Rebecca (Greg), Richard (Sandora), Kai, Nicholas, Lucas, Ava, and Alexander, who will remember her for her boundless love and the wisdom she imparted.

Nancy's siblings, Robert Wilds, Patrick Wilds, Loretta Swan, and Joe McCabe, will hold dear the memories of a sister whose life was a reflection of kindness and strength. Her presence in their lives was a source of comfort and inspiration, and she will be deeply missed.

Nancy's commitment to her faith was evident in her long-standing role as a member of St. John's Anglican Church in Thamesford. Her dedication to her church community was unwavering, and she served with grace and humility as a retired lay Minister of the Parish of the Thames. Her work within the church and her association involvement were not merely roles she filled but were extensions of her very being, as she sought to serve and uplift those around her.
Cremation has taken place and entrusted to Brock and Visser Funeral Home (177 Dundas St. Thamesford)
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday February 10, 2024 at 2 pm held at St. John’s Anglican Church, Thamesford.
