WELLS, Dorothy "Dot" (nee Nancekivell) - Passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, February 3rd, 2020 in her 83rd year.  Beloved wife of the late Ralph Wells (2009). Loving mother of Judy (David McIntosh) Wells of Elmira, Brian Wells of Woodstock and Christi Osborne of Innerkip.  Cherished grandma of Melissa Roi, Josh Roi, Stephanie Osborne, Katie McIntosh and Alex Osborne and remembered by Jeff Roi and John Osborne.  Dot is survived by her sister-in-law Louise Wells of Calgary (late Ron 2018) as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Predeceased by her parents Stuart and Eileen Nancekivell, brother Bill Nancekivell (late Barbara), sister and brother-in-laws Mary and Arthur Eddy and Lenore and Ross Livingston.  Dot was an active member of St. David's United Church, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Woodstock Woman's Probus Club and past member of Craigowan Golf Club and the Woodstock Curling Club.  After her children were grown Dot worked part-time as a  travel agent for 15 years.  She had a passion for travelling and she and Ralph visited many exciting destinations, several by cruise ship and others by land tours. Dot and Ralph celebrated their 45th and 50th Wedding Anniversaries with their family of 12 by enjoying the adventures at Disney World.  Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for visitation at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Thursday, February 6th, 2020 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. and  6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  A special Beta Sigma Phi Sorority service will take place prior to visitation.  Cremation has taken place with inurnment at Innerkip cemetery. The memorial service will be held at St. David's United Church, 190 Springbank Ave., N., Woodstock on Friday, February 7th, 2020 at 1:00 pm. with Reverend Jane Van Patter officiating.  If desired, memorial contributions to St. David's United Church Memorial Fund or Woodstock Hospital would be appreciated and may be arranged through the funeral home.
