SMIT - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Wednesday July 30, 2003. Zwaantinus (Tinus) Herman Smit of Mohawk St. Woodstock in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Ali (Alice) Smit (nee Hoeve). Dear father of Harry and his wife Gwen of Woodstock, John and his wife Jann of Uxbridge, Bert of London, Tineke Schmidt and her husband Doug of Midland and Jack and his wife Kathy of Ingersoll. Loved grandfather of Tineke, Andrew, Stephen, Mark, Nathan, Jenelle, Adam, Brandon and Kiana and great grandchildren Heaven and Noah. Predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters in Holland. Friends may call at the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Avenue Woodstock (539-0004) on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm.The Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11:00 am in Emmanuel Reformed Church, 170 Clarke St. Woodstock with Rev. Roland Hartmans officiating. Interment in Hillview Cemetery. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Emmanuel Reformed Church would be appreciated.
