THIBODEAU - Peacefully at Woodstock General Hospital on Friday July 29, 2011. Yvon J. Thibodeau of Caressant Care Nursing Home Woodstock and formerly of Hayball Street Woodstock in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Therese A. Thibodeau (nee Pelltier)(2005). Much loved father of Real (Mona)Thibodeau of Quebec, Suzette (Fernand) Corriveau of Welland, Jacques (Monique) Thibodeau of Woodstock, Alain (Wanda) Thibodeau of Wiarton, Gilles Thibodeau of Tillsonburg, Suzanne Thibodeau of London, Line (Al) MacGillivray of Courtland, Serge (Denise) Thibodeau of Innerkip, Violette (Donna Flavelle) Thibodeau of Woodstock, Bernard (Bev) Thibodeau of Kingston, and Carole (Wayne) Michiels of Tillsonburg. Loved grandfather of 15 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also survived by his siblings, Simone Rousel, Gerald (Aline) Thibodeau all of New Brunswick, Yvette Boutot, and Rina Thibodeau of Connecticut. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Sarah (nee Levesque) Thibodeau and brothers Alveo and Romeo Thibodeau. Yvon was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish and the Knights of Columbus (St. Rita's), and served in the Canadian Army for five years during WW II. The family will receive friends at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home (Formerly Longworth's) 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004 on Tuesday August 2nd 2011 from 7-9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish 904 Dundas St. Woodstock Wednesday August 3rd 2011 at 11 am. Interment in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
