GAMBLE - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday June 13, 2010. Wyatt Leslie Gamble of Woodstock in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Shirley Marion (nee Corbett) Gamble for over 62 years. Loved father of Pat Gamble of Thamesford and Susan Gamble (Peter Cox) of Woodstock. Dear brother-in-law of Mary Gamble of Victoria, BC. Predeceased by his sister Jean Gamble and brothers Bonar, Johnston, Donald, Lloyd and Owen. Wyatt was a longtime member, Stewart and Past Chairman of the Property Committee of Central United Church, a Charter member of the Y Promenade Square Dance Club, member of Odd Fellows Lodge # 269, Past President of the Probus Club of Woodstock, Charter member of the Home Builders Association, Past President of the YMCA and YWCA, served with the RCAF during WW II, and is the retired owner/operator of Wyatt Gamble Builder Ltd. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday June 15, 2010 from 2 - 4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Faith United Church, 34 Riddell St., Woodstock on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Interment in the Hillview Cemetery.
