Wojciech "Wojtek" Julisz Skwierczynski

It is with profound sadness that the family of Wojtek Julisz Skwierczynski, announce his passing on Wednesday May 17th, 2023, at the age of 75. He was born in Warsaw, Poland and emigrated to Canada in 1975. Wojtek will be remembered by his loving wife of 48 years, Grazyna (Grace) Skwierczynski, his children Tom (Cammie), Steven and Derek and his beloved grandchildren, Kasia, Bailey, Cayden, Damon and Austin. Wojtek will also be remembered by his siblings Krystyna, Mira, Jedrocha. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and brother and sisters in-laws.

Wojtek enjoyed the outdoors and working in his garden. He spent most of his days at home with his beloved wife, and had been enjoying their retirement together. Wojtek was always talking about how proud he was of his grandchildren and enjoyed family gatherings.

Visitation will be held on Monday May 22, 2023 from 4-6pm with prayers at 5 pm held at Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave 519-539-0004). A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday May 23, 2023 at 10 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church (169 Ingersoll Rd.) followed by burial at St. Mary's Cemetery.
