ALLAN - Winnie Grace Elizabeth Parker - born at Cody's Corners in 1911, and resident of this city for 90 years died in Woodstock General Hospital on Thursday morning May 26, one week after her 94th birthday. She is predeceased by her husband who died on the same day 18 years ago, and her sister Evelyn Lawson. She is remembered with love and gratitude by her friends and the family; her children David (Marilyn), William (Kathy), Winnifred (Carl), the grandchildren: Margie (Dennis), Bill (Kathy), Tom (Julia), Molly (Ryan), Laurie (Mark), Stephen (Christa), Christopher (Christine), David (Debbie), Elizabeth (Carlos), Andrew (Nadine) plus eighteen great grandchildren. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004 on Saturday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm, where a celebration of Win's life will take place in the chapel on Sunday at 1:30 pm with Rev. Stephen Hershey officiating. Interment later in the Hillview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Central United Church, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the C.N.I.B.
