William "Bill" Joseph Duivenvoorde

DUIVENVOORDE, William “Bill”- After a lengthy battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family at Woodstock Hospital on Sunday, October 9th, 2022, in his 75th year. Beloved husband of the late Irene Duivenvoorde (2006). Loved father of Jennifer (Jeremy) and Melissa (Justin). Cherished grandfather of Austin, Nolan Duivenvoorde, and Brayden Beemer. Dear brother of Clara Maycock, Wilhelmina (Dr. Garry) Ross, Toni Bolduc, and Andy (Judi) Duivenvoorde, and brother-in-law to Ted Bintcliffe, Bev Duivenvoorde, and Karen Duivenvoorde.  Predeceased by his parents Jacobus and Anna Duivenvoorde, his sisters Betty Anne Boudreau and Joan Bintcliffe, his brothers Jack Duivenvoorde and Rob Duivenvoorde, and his in-laws Fred Maycock and Don Bolduc. Bill is survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.  Bill was known for his vast knowledge and immense passion for cars. He loved working at Canadian Tire and Wismer’s, where many of his customers became his lifelong friends. Bill will be forever remembered by his High Riser friends. A celebration of life will be held on November 13th, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Unifor Hall 126 Beale Street Woodstock, ON, (519-537-5942).  If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
