William M. Wotherspoon

WOTHERSPOON- At Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday May 7th, 2006 William M. Wotherspoon of Woodstock in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Louisa "Lucy" Wotherspoon (nee Hogg). Loved father of Bill and his wife Linda of Brantford and Emily Walton and her husband Tom of Embro. Dear grandfather of Jennifer, Amy, Mary, Margaret, and Anne. Bill is also survived by his brothers Jack and his wife Nina, Andy and his wife Shirley, and his sister Chrissie Kinnaird and her husband Bob all of Hamilton. Predeceased by his sister Mary Hogg and her husband Edwin, brother-in-law Danny Hogg, and his sister in law Betty Wotherspoon. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Oxford Baptist Church (278 Hunter St., Woodstock) on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Pastor Brian Stewart officiating. Interment in Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens, Oakville. In lieu of flowers "Plant a rosebush in a friends garden or take them for a round of golf." in Bill's memory or a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
