William "Charlie" White

WHITE - At Woodstock General Hospital on Friday April 11, 2003. William "Charlie" White of Odlum Dr., Woodstock in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Mary A. White (nee Wilson). Dear father of Patrick Owen and his wife Brenda of Brantford and Gregory Charles and his wife Kelly of Norwich. Loved grandfather of Charles, Carmen, Cody and Gregory. Predeceased by his sister Margaret and brother Patrick. Charlie served overseas with the R.C.A.F. during WWII. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus reaching the 4th Degree Knighthood and member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #55, Woodstock. A memorial service will be held at the St. Rita's Roman Catholic Church, 904 Dundas St., Woodstock on Wednesday at 10:00am with Fr. Alan Dufraimont officiating. Interment later in the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Hearing Society would be appreciated and may be arranged through the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, Woodstock (539-0004).
