SHORT - At his residence on Thursday, March 25, 2010. William Garnet Short of Caressant Care Retirement Home and formerly of Beale St. Woodstock in his 85th year. Beloved son of the late Edward and Ethel Short. Predeceased by his sister Carol. Garnet was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and was involved in numerous church committees. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) Thursday, April 1, 2010 after 10:00 am where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel Thursday at 11:00 am. Interment later at the Baptist Cemetery. Contributions to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund or the Woodstock General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
