William Roy "Bill" Peddie

PEDDIE, William Roy - The family of William Roy Peddie are wishing him well on his next journey. Bill passed away peacefully surronded by the ones he laughed with, lived for and loved on April 29th, 2015. He is survived by his beloved wife Ursula Peddie (nee Holtuyzen) and his cherished daughter Mary (Frazer) Andrews. Loving grandfather to Rachelle (Brandon Brown), Brandon (Stephanie Lundrigan), Spencer, Jackson and Nickolas Andrews and great grandfather to Ryleigh Brown. Special person to Brock, Catherine and Michael Argyle. Bill will fondly be remembered by many cousins, friends and colleagues. Predeceased by his parents John and Emma Peddie (nee Dailey), and brother Donald Peddie. Bill was a man that enjoyed life to the fullest and was a teacher for 31 years at Fanshawe College where he was passionate about making a difference in the lives of his students. He was known for his love for the outdoors, music and his family. Always the teacher and devoted grandfather to "his boys", Nickolas and Jackson; he enjoyed every single moment of their "adventures" together. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Dorchester United Church, 4110 Catherine Street N. Dorchester, ON., 519-268-3154 on Saturday May 2nd, 2015 from 2-4pm and 7-9-pm. where the funeral service will be held on Sunday May 3rd, 2015 at 2pm officiated by Reverend Schneider. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Dorchester United Church would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock ON., 519-539-0004.
