MUIR - At Woodingford Lodge on Thursday February 20, 2003. W. Alexander Muir of Devonshire Ave., and formerly of Canterbury St.,Woodstock in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Ermal Jean Muir (nee Matheson). Dear father of William Muir and his wife Doreen of Woodstock and Dorothy Burt-Gerrans of Waterloo. Loved grandfather of Sandi Muir-Leach and her husband Al, Steven Muir, Brad Ashman and Coleen, Scott Ashman and his wife Melanie and Mike Ashman. Dear great grandfather of Sarah Ashman and Isaac Leach. Cremation. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment in the Presbyterian Cemetery. Contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and may be made through the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, Woodstock, (539-0004).
