KNOTT, W. Leslie - At the Woodstock Hospital on Sunday February 14, 2016 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Betty (nee Donaldson) Knott for nearly 60 years. Dear father of Bill (Kim) Knott, Brian (Brenda) Knott and Brenda (Rick) Van Bommel. Loved grandfather of Justin (Amanda) Knott, Laura Knott, Derrick (Heather) Knott, Jeremy (Amelia) Knott, Karly (Craig) Van Bommel, Kevin (Taylor) Van Bommel and great grandfather of Dominik, Colton and Jacob. Dear brother of Sandra (Wayne) Walker and brother-in-law of Peggy (Reg) Searles, Ted (Gail) Donaldson, Jim (Anya) Donaldson, Penny (Barry) Mulvey and survived by his special nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings; Aleta Cole, Marj Martin and Ken Knott. Friends are welcome to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Thursday February 18, 2016 from 7-9 pm and again on Friday one hour prior to the service. The funeral service to honour Les' life will be held in the chapel on Friday at 1:30 pm with Rev. David Snihur officiating. Interment in the Burgessville Baptist Cemetery.
