William Joseph Heeman

After a lifetime apprenticeship, Bill received a promotion to head gardener in Heaven. He passed away surrounded by his loving family on June 28 at the age of 83. Everyone who knew Bill knew he loved his work. Right to his last day he was watering his plants and potted up his flower boxes. His commitment to his work was infectious and his passion will live on in his family and the business he created. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Susan, and children Rudy (Florence), Karen (Ed) Ensing, Peter and Rita. He joins in heaven his eldest son Willy (1973). He'll be sadly missed by grandchildren Will (Genevi&egraveve), Nathan (Aimee) Ensing, Tom (Susan), Derek (Paige) Ensing, Katie (Matt) Castelo, and Bridget. Visitation to take place at Brock & Visser Funeral Home, 177 Dundas St W, Thamesford on Monday, July 3rd from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral will take place at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 377 Oakland Ave, London, on Tuesday, July 4th at 11am with a celebration of life and meal to follow, all are welcome. Private interment at St. Peter's Cemetery. If desired memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one's choice or St. Patrick's Parish or Canadian Diabetes Association.
