William Ernest Floyd "Bill" Goddard

Bill passed away surrounded by family after a brief illness at Woodstock Hospital on March 25, 2025 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Delores Goddard (nee Ellis), with whom he shared 61 years of love and adventure. Loving Dad to Mary Anne Tilley (Brian), Bill Goddard and Paula Edmunds (John). Proud Grandpa, Big Dad and GG Pa to Ryan, Phillip (Melissa), Alex (Chantal), Noelle (Brandon), Alysha (Grant), Stephanie (Ben), Toby, Jessica (Dale), Kate and Jamie (Zac) and Great-Grandpa to Jordan, Emmett, Natalie, Eva, Finley, Madison, Hayden, Claire, Sophie and Declan.

Bill was born in Havelock, Ontario and was an outdoorsman at heart. He retired after 30 years at GM in Oshawa, and he and Delores moved to Vansickle, Ontario, where he could indulge his love of hunting, fishing, riding ATV’s, making maple syrup and gardening, passions he shared with his family. They were his greatest joy in life. Bill was an immensely proud grandfather and great-grandfather, and he loved to tease them and make them laugh. He was greatly loved and will be forever missed.

Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home on Friday March 28, 2025 from 1-1:45pm. Funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel at 2pm, with a reception to follow.
