William “Bill” Russell Fleming
Bill Fleming passed away at Victoria Hospital on Tuesday June 21, 2022 at the age of 75. Loved husband of Janet (nee Barrie) for 45 years. Father of Russell (Wendy), Barrie, Rebecca (Nick). Proud Grandpa of Bryer, Liam, Emmy, James, and Zoey. Brother to Marjorie Adams, Jean (Lew) Roberts, Dorothy (Bob) Garfat, Jamie (Marilyn) Fleming, and Elaine (Norman) Northmore. Brother in law to Bob (Lorna) Barrie and Joe Poore. Fondly remembered uncle to 16 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents James and Kathryn, sister Mary Poore, brother in law’s Al Adams and John Barrie. Bill was involved in Dairy Farming, Junior Farmers, Oxford Milkway, Zorra Tug of War, Caledonian Society, and Studebaker clubs. He also enjoyed fishing at Long Point and raising Clydesdale horses. Family and friends are invited to a reception on Sunday June 26, 2022 from 2-4 at Embro Zorra Community Centre, Embro.
