William "Bill" Henry Campbell

CAMPBELL, William Henry "Bill" - Passed away at Woodstock Hospital on Friday November 11, 2016, the day after his 85th birthday. Beloved husband of Luella Ruth "Lou" Campbell (nee Potter) for 63 years. Loving father of Rhonda (Randy) Butcher, Susan (Kevin) Emans and Mike (Deb) Campbell. Cherished grandfather of Michael (Jing), Stephen (Jiwoun), Katie (Tim), Kristin (James), Andrew and Randi-Lee; Sarah, Conner and Megan; Tyler (Ram), Tanner (Kayla) and Chelsey. Sadly missed by Donna (Daughter-in-law), and seven great grandchildren. Predeceased by his sons, James David, & William Lee. Brother-in-law to Marg & Burley (deceased), Victor & June, Russell & (Grace, deceased), & June & Gord. Uncle to many nieces & nephews. Bill was the last member of his immediate family. Bill was an insurance agent with Mutual and Sun Life for over 40 years. As well, he was a longtime member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Woodstock, the Rotary Club of Woodstock, Kinsmen Club of Woodstock, St. John Ambulance, as well as committees with the Children's Aid Society. Bill also helped coordinate the annual Mac Smith Memorial Golf Tournament, and volunteered for many local organizations. Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock on Monday November 14th 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 15th 2016 at 11:00 am, with Rev. Mark McLennan officiating. Interment at Presbyterian Cemetery. If desired, contributions to the Knox Presbyterian Church, South Gate Centre or Woodstock Hospital would be appreciated.
