William "Geddes" Broadhurst

BROADHURST- Peacefully, at his home on Monday January 2, 2012. W. Geddes Broadhurst of Woodstock in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Betty Broadhurst (nee Eaglesham). Loved father of Judy (John) Lumsden of Kitchener and John (Sharon) of Woodstock. Cherished grandfather of Jane (Steve) Coe, Janet (Michael) Bast, and Julie (Nathan) Belcher; Jason (Adele) Broadhurst and Cory (Amelie Allen) Broadhurst; Cody and Jim Broadhurst. Loved great grandfather of nine. Dear brother of Dorothy Hobbs of Toronto. Also survived and loved by several nieces and nephews. Geddes was a longtime member of Oxford Baptist Church, Woodstock. Predeceased by his son William "Bill" Broadhurst (2000), three sisters and one brother. Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday January 6th 2012 from 7-9 pm. The Service of Remembrance will be held at Oxford Baptist Church, 278 Hunter Street Woodstock on Saturday January 7th 2012 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Don Reeve officiating.
