William Albert "Bill" Wilson

Wilson, William Albert “Bill” - It is with heavy hearts that we announce his sudden passing at the Stratford General Hospital on Friday, August 16th, 2019, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Gayle (nee Crozier) for 50 years. Loving brother of Patricia (Robert), devoted father of Mary Ann (Neil) and William (Melissa), and proud new grandfather of Miles. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Bill was an OPP Constable in Blind River for over 10 years, Deputy Chief of Security at Rio Algom in Elliot Lake, and most recently, security supervisor of the GM warehouse in Woodstock. Outside of his work, Bill was a passionate and accomplished dart player who was always glad to go the extra mile, often literally, for his family and friends, and who always had a story or joke to share. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, on Wednesday, August 21st, 2019 from 6:00pm–8:00 pm and again on Thursday August 22nd from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, where the service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the London Health Sciences Centre would be appreciated and may be arranged through the funeral home.
