Wilda Francis Mahala (Davis) Cromie

CROMIE- Wilda Francis Cromie (nee Davis), of the Leisure World Nursing Home in Orillia formally of Canterbury Street Woodstock, died Wednesday October 15, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Robert Harry Cromie having been married for 43 years. Wilda and her husband / partner were the owners of "Cromie's Interiors" for over 40 years. She was a member of the I.O.D.E., Vansittart Chapter for over 60 years. Wilda was predeceased by her daughter Anna Nora Lyon (1993). She is survived by her son JD and his wife Barbara of Orillia and Anne's husband Bert Lyon who had been like a son to Wilda. Her four grandchildren also survive her ; Shannan Svirda, and Jay Cromie, Tracy and Rob Lyon and seven great grandchildren. Friends are invited to join with the family at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday October 18, 2008 from 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday October 18, 2008 at 1:30pm.
