Wilburt "Burt" Lloyd Griffin

GRIFFIN- Wilburt "Burt" Lloyd - Passed away at the Woodstock Hospital on Friday January 23rd 2015. Wilburt "Burt" Griffin of RR# 2 Burgessville in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of over 45 years to Myra Ruth Griffin (nee Barry). Dear father of David (Kristine), Melissa (Tim) and Jennifer (Dan). Cherished grandfather of Travis, Ainsley, Harper and Halle. Dear brother of Stanley (Shirley) and Bill (Vicki). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Jean (nee Cody) Griffin. Burt graduated from the Agricultural course at Ridgetown College, before farming in the Burgessville area for over 45 years. Burt was an avid reader, and enjoyed history. A private graveside service will be held at the Bayview Cemetery, Port Rowan in the spring. If desired, contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Parkinson Foundation or the S.P.C.A.
