BADGER, W. "Betty" Elizabeth - At Sakura House, Woodstock on Thursday January 13, 2011. Betty Badger (nee Anderson) of Woodstock in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Al S. Badger for over 50 years. Cherished mother of Barbara (Bill) Wilks and Patricia (George Spilak) Badger all of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Jeremy, Jeffery, Sean, Matthew, Steven (Kathy) and great grandmother to Cassidy. Dear sister of Raymond (Val) Anderson and survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her sister Louise and brother Kenneth. Betty was a past employee of Firestone Textiles and in the cafeteria at Towers. She was a longtime dedicated member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 55, Woodstock, OCNVA "Navy Club" and volunteered at Parkwood Hospital in London for many years. Friends will be received at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Sunday January 16th 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday January 17th 2011 with Rev. Don Moore officiating. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Woodstock General Hospital would be appreciated.
