Wendy Lynne (Mccann) Long

LONG, Wendy- Peacefully, with her loving family by her side at LHSC (Victoria Campus) on Wednesday April 18th 2012. Wendy Lynne Long (Nee McCann) passed away at the age of 64 after a long courageous struggle. Beloved wife of over 40 years to Jim Long. Cherished daughter of Marj and Bern McCann of Cambridge. Dear sister of Marsha (Michael) Beaver of Milton and their children Tara (Mike) Taylor, Eric Beaver and Kristen (Marc Gardiner) Beaver. Also survived by her great nephew Owen Taylor. Wendy was a lifetime member of Old St. Paul's Anglican Church, Woodstock where she belonged to the ACW, Church Choir, was on Parish Council and was Church Treasurer for many years. Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Sunday April 22nd 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Old St. Paul's Anglican Church 723 Dundas Street, Woodstock on Monday April 23rd 2012 at 11:00 am with Rev. Bruce Genge officiating. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery. If desired, contributions to the Woodstock Hospital Foundation (Dialysis Unit) or the Old St. Paul's Anglican Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
