Wendy Louise Joyce

Wendy Louise Joyce (nee Eaton), at the young age of 61, passed suddenly with the love of her two daughters by her side, on May 4, 2024, at Victoria Hospital. Born on September 9, 1962, in the quaint town of Paris, Ontario, Wendy lived a life of warmth, compassion, and an unwavering dedication to those she held dear. Wendy was the cherished mother of Tami and Tabitha, who were the absolute joy of her life. Wendy's love for her family extended to her siblings, Deb (Bill) Wright, Tom Eaton (Jennifer), and Rick Eaton. Known for her generous heart, Wendy was a beloved sister, an adored aunt to Tracey, Jamie, Bryan, and Nick, and a doting great-aunt to her great-nieces and nephews. She will be lovingly remembered by her aunts, uncles, and extended family members. Predeceased by her parents, Ronald and Jeanne Eaton. Wendy's lifelong friendship with Marion, spanning an impressive 57 years, was a testament to her loyalty and the depth of her connections. An avid animal lover, Wendy's compassion knew no bounds as she shared her home and heart with her beloved cat, Velvet, and her loyal dogs, Odie and Kaya. Wendy's likeness for the Disney character Dopey was well known among her loved ones, reflecting her sense of humor and ability to find happiness in the simple pleasures of life. Wendy's legacy is one of kindness, laughter, and the countless lives she touched with her gentle spirit. Wendy's passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved her. Staying with her final wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday June 29th, 2024 at Unifor Hall/CAW, 126 Beale Street, Woodstock, Ontario from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
