PROUSE, Wympje ``Wendy``- Passed away at VON Sakura House on Sunday December 20, 2015 in her 61st year. Beloved wife of Gregory Harold Prouse. Loving mother of Jennifer Longthorne and Kristen Gear (Shawn). Cherished oma of Noah, Easton, Maddie, Mason and Ruby. Dear sister of Elly (Hans) Zegerius, Jenny (Jim) Tonin, Art (Kim) Van Asselt and John (Dorothy) Van Asselt. Wendy is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Tyler Markham, parents Gerry and Willy Van Asselt and her nephew Justin Van Asselt. Wendy was a longtime employee of Royal Trust and ScotiaBank. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Monday December 28, 2015 from 5pm-8pm where the memorial service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday December 29, 2015 at 11am.
