POND, Wendell D. - Passed away peacefully at Sakura House on Thursday June 15, 2017 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Doris Wendell. Cherished step-father to Mary Dodd. Dear brother to Clyd (Nancy) Pond. Wendell will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews Connie Pond, Karen Pond-Ward, Brad Robertson, Michael Pond, Shawnee Slama and Kelly Stone. Predeceased by his sister Arleigh (nee Pond) Robertson. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Wendell's life will be held on Saturday July 8, 2017 from 12 to 5 pm at 219 Elizabeth St., Thamesford.
