Wayne Campbell

Donald Wayne Campbell, known as Wayne, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on April 12, 1940, Wayne's journey was one marked by love, kindness, and unwavering faith.

Wayne's commitment to his family was unparalleled. He is survived by his spouse, Shelia, and their children: the late Shelley Stringer, Allison (Matt) Denmark, and Ian (Kristen) Campbell. Wayne's legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren who knew him as “Poppy”, Will (Adriana), Luke, Cole, Caleb (Angela) , Abby, Jordan, and Joseph, as well as great-grandchildren Shelley, Liam, and Rowan. Also mourning his loss are his siblings, Mac (Pat) Campbell, Lynne (Fred Giles) Laverty, and the families of his late sister, Catherine Grant (Lloyd), and brother, Ian Campbell, along with several loving nieces and nephews.

Professionally, Wayne practiced dentistry in Woodstock for almost 50 years, where he brightened the days of his patients with more than just dental care. An active and faithful member of the Innerkip Presbyterian Church, he walked closely with Jesus, and his faith was an essential part of who he was.

To know Wayne was to know a friend. His happy smile, kindness, and spirit of generosity touched all who met him. He will be deeply missed, but his influence will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to share in his faith-filled journey.

A celebration of life will be held at Innerkip Presbyterian Church (64 Blandford St. Innerkip) on Friday November 29, 2024at 3 pm.
