Wayne Armstrong

ARMSTRONG, Wayne - Slipped quietly from our presence on Wednesday April 26, 2017 at University Hospital, London, in his 71st year. The eldest son of the late Robert (2004) and Marion Armstrong will be missed greatly by his mother; his brother and wife, Brian and Lori Armstrong; his sister and husband, Cindy and Allan Harvey; nieces and nephews, Chris and Kelly Armstrong and their children Addison, Chelsea and Austin; Lisa and Sean Brohman and their son Desmond; Stephen and Jessica Harvey and their son Clayton; Kirk Harvey and Sandi Ackerman as well as his two aunts, Fran Harding and Mary Wilson. Wayne will be fondly remembered by his good friends, Jim and Ruth Stephenson, Lloyd Masters and Tom and Kathy Stephenson. An enthusiastic farmer, Wayne could always be found actively involved with the daily activities, helping Brian and enjoying his favourite pastime of finding new trails to explore on his bike. Wayne always enjoyed eating out whether it was with Jim, Ruth and Lloyd on the road in their travels or a good home cooked meal at Lori's, Kathy's or a local church supper. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Saturday April 29, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. Sarah Grady officiating.
