Passed away while in the care of his family at Trillium Credit Valley hospital on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 96 years of age.
Wasyl was a long-time resident of Woodstock. Born on November 21, 1926 in Cherniatyn, Ukraine to Nicholas and Anna Tryhub and brother of Mykhailo and the late Melania. Beloved husband of the late Nadia Tryhub
Beloved father of Elena, Ihor and John. “Dido” was adored by his grandchildren and great grandchildren
Visitation will take place as Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave.) on Friday April 21, 2023 from 4-6 pm
Funeral service will take place on Saturday April 22, 2023 at 9:30AM at the “Chapel” at St. Volodymyr Cultural Center, 1280 Dunas Street West, Oakville followed by interment at the adjoining cemetery. Reception will follow at the Cultural Center at the same location.
