Walter Terrance "Hilly" Hilborne

Hilborne, Walter Terrance “Hilly” – Passed away at the Grand River Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, July 8th, 2020.  Loved brother of Sharon (Allan) Watson, Jim Hilborne, Carolyn (Michael) Slager, Marie Wilson and Montgomery “Monty” Hilborne.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his brothers Robert “Bob” Hilborne, Lawrence Hilborne, and his nephew Justin Slager (2009).  Hilly had a passion for sports and spent much time travelling with local hockey teams as an important member of the support staff. He also worked at many local sport stores; Double D Sports, Coupalo Sports, and End Zone Sports. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm. A private family service will be held at a later date.
