Walter Wilson

WILSON - Peacefully at the Woodstock General Hospital on Saturday Sept. 8, 2007. Walter Wilson of Park Place Retirement Centre and formerly of Fairview Cres., Woodstock in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy E. (nee Armstrong) Wilson (2000). Dear father of the late Steve Wilson (1994), Randy Fisher, Gary Fisher both of London, David Fisher of Winlaw, B.C. and Christine Traquair and her husband Dave of London. Loved grandfather of Stephan, Colin, Danielle and Curtis. Also survived by his sisters-in-law Mary Wilson, Marion Armstrong and by his cousin Betty Smith. Walter was a veteran of WW II serving with the RCAF, was a longtime member of the OCNVA and was employed with Bell Canada for over 38 years. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Monday Sept. 10, 2007 from 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Rev.
