SOUTHGATE - Peacefully at his residence on Thursday, July 31, 2008. Walter E. Southgate of People Care Centre in Tavistock in his 80th year. Dear father of Cheryl Groen and her husband Norm of Woodstock, Patsy Rekker and her husband Rick of London, Kelly Kozuch and her husband Gary of Woodstock and Lisa Nicholls of Kitchener. Loved grandfather of six grandchildren and one great grandson. Dear brother of Sam and his wife Celestia, Ivy and brother-in-law of Wilma. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., 519-539-0004, Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at 1:30 pm.
