Walter "Lloyd" Butler

Lloyd passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Victoria Hospital, London, on Monday, August 26th, 2024, at the age of 80. Lloyd has rejoined his beloved wife  Eva Cheryl Butler. He is the loving father of Susan Butler and Janice Butler (Scott Stewart). Proud grandpa of Broady and Cloey. Much loved brother of Terry, Karl, Deanna, Sonya, Robin, Harvey, Ian Kelly and their spouses.  Lloyd was predeceased by his parents Ewert “Buss” and Doreen Butler, as well as his brother Dale. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his companion of many years, Stella Fletcher as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Lloyd loved being outdoors. He spent much of his time in nature year round, hunting and fishing.  He could also be found puttering in the garage or practicing and playing one of his guitars. Susan and Janice would like to thank the Respiratory Team, Nurses and PSW’s in D5-200 for the care and support given to Lloyd and his family during his 50 day stay.

Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004) on Friday, August 30, 2024, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, in the Chapel of Brock and Visser Funeral Home at 11am. Interment to follow at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
