Wallace Murray "Wally" Meadows

MEADOWS, Wallace "Wally" Murray- Peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Sunday November 1st 2015. Wallace M. Meadows of Woodstock in his 90th year. Beloved husband of over 68 years to Ellen B. Meadows (nee Harris). Cherished father of Stephen and Rosemary (Don) McDonald. Loved grandfather of Julie, Scott and Carolyn. Dear brother of June Searle, Bruce (Lorna) Meadows and brother-in-law of Barbara Meadows. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews in the Embro, Tavistock and Woodstock area. Predeceased by his brother Walter Meadows and brother-in-law Harold Searle and his sister-in-law Donna Meadows. Wally was an employee of LaFarge Canada for over 33 years, life member of the Oxford Masonic Lodge # 76, Scottish Rite, member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Khaki Chapter #27 and a life member of the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association of Canada. Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Tuesday November 3rd 2015 from 7-9 pm and Wednesday November 4th from 1 -2 pm. The complete funeral service will be held in the chapel Wednesday November 4th 2015 at 2:00 pm. Interment later at Harris Street Cemetery.
