W. Bruce Fraser

FRASER - At the Woodstock General Hospital on Monday August 18, 2003. W. Bruce Fraser of Edward St., Woodstock in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Christena "Chris" C. Fraser (nee MacKenzie) for over 50 years. Dear father of Mildred Langille and her husband Phil of Scotsburn, Nova Scotia, Laurie Fraser and his wife Diane and Cheryl Shulman and her husband Mark all of Woodstock. Loved grandfather of Blaine Langille (Delores), Lesa Buccella (Paul), Kristin, Trevor and Adam Shulman and great grandfather of Brandon, Christopher, Halee, Jessica and Erica. Dear brother of Roberta Heighton of River John, Nova Scotia and Betty Howlett and husband Richard of St. Catharines. Bruce had been a longtime member of the Knox Presbyterian Church Woodstock, the Moose Family Centre # 1141, Woodstock, was employed with Standard Tube for over 25 years and had recently received his 45 year pin with Scouts Canada for his dedicated service in Nova Scotia and Woodstock and as Assistant Camp Chief at Camp Shegardaynou just outside of Princeton. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 539-0004, Thursday 2- 4 and 7-9pm, where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am with Rev. John van Vliet officiating. Interment in the Presbyterian Cemetery. Contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Woodstock General Hospital would be appreciated.
