Vladimir Puskaric

Puskaric, Vladimir - Vladimir passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Woodstock Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He leaves a deep void in the hearts of everyone who loved him. Vladimir will be dearly missed by his devoted wife of 52 years Lillian, and by his beloved sons, Daniel (Melissa), and Michael (Renata), and his grandchildren Eva, Karina, and Emma. He also leaves behind many cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

Vladimir was an accomplished research scientist and recipient of two prestigious Plant Breeding awards from the Government of Canada During his 33 years of service at Pioneer Hi-Bred, he developed numerous key hybrids that have been grown all over the world.

Everyone who knew Vladimir will remember his sense of humour (particularly telling jokes) , his passion for boating, fishing, gardening and his adoration of his grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Friends and relatives are invited to join the family on Sunday July 25th from 12 - 1 PM at Brock Visser Funeral Home on 845 Devonshire Avenue in Woodstock (519-539-0004). The Funeral service will be taking place in the chapel at 1 PM (Due to COVID, guests are required to RSVP in advance at the funeral home website.
