Virtue "Vicky" (Gorman) Black

BLACK- Peacefully, with her daughter at her side at the Woodstock General Hospital on Sunday, July 27, 2008. Virtue (Vicky) B. Black (nee Gorman) of Beale Street Woodstock in her 86th year. Virtue is predeceased by her loving husband Edmund (September 11, 2001), and is survived by her daughter Cynthia Rhamey and son-in-law Lorne, three sisters-in-law, one brother and several nieces and nephews. Born in Toronto in 1923, Vicky moved to London in 1951, and to Woodstock in 2002 where she spent many happy hours playing cards, going out for dinner, and visiting with loving friends at 110 Beale Street. Special thanks to Dr. Onishenko for her care, concern, and support, and to all of the 3rd floor nurses and staff at WGH. As requested, a private service and burial will be held at Woodland Cemetery in London.
