JERRY- At her residence on Friday November 24th 2006. Violet E. Jerry (nee Russell) of Caressant Care Nursing Home and formerly of Huron Street Woodstock in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Sydney W. Jerry (1982). Dear mother of Valarie Chambers and her husband Brian of Woodstock. Loved grandmother of Paul Chambers and his wife Nancy of Woodstock, Julie Hebert and her husband John of Windsor and cherished great grandmother of Lexie, Austin and Tobin Chambers, Sam and Sebastien Hebert. Special aunt of Debbie Erickson as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Evelyn Abbott, Edna Fleming and Mildred Wale. Violet was a longtime member of Old St. Paul's Anglican Church. A private family service was held at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Tuesday where Rev. Bruce Genge of Old St. Paul's Anglican Church officiated. Interment took place in the Anglican Cemetery. If desired contributions to the Woodstock General Hospital Building Fund would be appreciated.
