Viola M. (Franklin) Furtney

FURTNEY- Suddenly at London Health Sciences Centre (South Street Campus) on Thursday May 5, 2005. Viola M. Furtney (nee Franklin) of Canterbury St. Woodstock in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Redvers C. Furtney (1984). Dear mother of Don and his wife Teresa of Woodstock, Janet Kinnaird and her husband Jim of RR# 7 Woodstock, Alan and his wife Karen of Stratford. Loved grandmother of Megan and Kelly Furtney; Andrea, Stephanie and Brad Kinnaird; Brent and Rhonda Furtney. Dear sister of Roy Franklin and his wife Bea of Ingersoll and also survived by her sister-in-law Mary Franklin. Predeceased by her brothers Max and Floyd. Viola was active in several seniors activities including the Woodingford Lodge Auxillary. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (539-0004) Monday 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the funeral service will held in the chapel Tuesday at 1:30 pm with Rev. David Woodall officiating. Interment Ingersoll Rural Cemetery. Contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, St. David's United Church or Hickson United Church would be appreciated.
