Allison-Faria - Vilma Celestine Olga Bascom (born January 29, 1929) of Woodstock, Ontario, and Georgetown Guyana, passed very peacefully at Hospice Niagara, St. Catharines, Ontario, on December 7, 2009. Loving mother of 10 children: Ivan (Amorette) Allison; Camille (Desmond) Sequeira; Seton Allison; Desmond (Edith) Allison; Herman (Nina) Faria; Ronald Faria; Maurice (Emma) Faria; Marcia (Josip) Faria-Tatai; Isabella (Jerome) Khelawan; Hugh (Susan) Faria. Grandmother of Ivan, Ian, Anne Marie, Suelan, Eaton, Jedon, Devika, Seth, Renick, Montague, Beau, Rochelle, Leah, Michelle, Jessica, Caroline, Herman Jr., Michael, Davika, Ronald Jr., Camille, Joshua, Amorette, Sean, Melissa, Jessica, Maja, Joel, Eve, and Jonathan. She was also the loving Great- grandmother of fourteen, with three more expected in the new year. Vilma was predeceased by her husbands Seton Noel Allison and Herman Ignatius Faria. Dearly loved and forever missed. A memorial service will be held at the Longworth Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., on Saturday, December 12th, 2009 at 2:00pm. Reception to follow.
