"Vi" Edythe Alice Violet (Gwalchmai) Adams

ADAMS, Violet "Vi" - At her residence on Monday May 9, 2016. Edythe Alice Violet (Vi) (nee Gwalchmai) Adams of People Care, Tavistock in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Carl Raymond Adams (1990) and the late William E. Allen (2015). Dear mother of Carl (Verna) Adams, Shirley (Philip) Marsh and Carolyn (Don Hosek) Sarantis. Loved grandmother of Jamie (Tasha), Christopher (Megan) and Jessica. Dear sister to Betty Peebles and June Grasby. Predeceased by her siblings; Rose, Marjorie and Dan. Vi served two terms on Woodstock City Council and was the Chairman of the Thames Valley District Health Council. She also was an Instructor of Nursing at the Chatham Hospital after the Second World War. A private time of remembrance will be held by the family at a later date. Interment will take place in Springhill, Nova Scotia. Cremation has taken place.
