MARKLE, Veronica Mae - Peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Wednesday October 28th 2015. Veronica Mae Markle (nee Weiler) of Woodstock in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late June Edward Markle (Sept 2015). Loved mother of Sally (Dan) Ferneyhough and Joe (Corrina Van Dusen) Markle. Cherished grandmother of Danielle (Devin) Ferneyhough and Erin (Adam) Dodds; Jessie, Lisa (Stu) and James Markle; Kyler and Danny Markle. Dear sister of Monica Steele, Nancy (Glen) Chadwell and sister-in-law of Shirley Hepworth. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sons Danny (1998), James (2007) and by her three sisters and three brothers. Veronica enjoyed her time leading the swimettes and volunteering at the tuck shop at Woodingford Lodge. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave.,Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday October 30th 2015 from 7-9 pm where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday October 31st 2015 at 2:00 pm. Cremation, with interment later at Presbyterian Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Funeral Home.
