SHELTON - At Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday January 25, 2005. V. Lloyd Shelton of Devonshire Ave., Woodstock in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Elsie M. Shelton (nee Gee). Dear father of Sharon Vivian and her husband Glynn of Fort Erie and Helen Friend and her husband Andrew of Calhoun, Georgia. Loved grandfather of Mark Sears; Monique (Rich) Hooyenga and Rhonda Wilton and great grandfather of Jordan Brouillard and Matthew Hooyenga. Dear brother of Winnifred Rush of Tillsonburg, Norman of Clifford, and Jean Glencross of Lachine, Quebec. Predeceased by his granddaughter Michele Sears, sister Helen Shelton, brothers Earl, Harold, Frank and Lorne. Lloyd served in WWII with the Algonquin Regiment and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br#55, Woodstock. He was also a member of the Mercer Wilson Masonic Lodge #678 A.F. & A.M., Scottish Rite, Rose Croix, Moore Sovereign Consistory, Mocha Temple Shrine Club and Eastern Star. Friends may call at the R.D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (539-0004) on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 am with Rev. Megan Collings-Moore officiating. Interment in the Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
