WARDELL, Verna May (nee Elliott) - Passed away at her home on Monday December 14, 2015 in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Robert "Bob" Rogers Wardell. Loved mother of Robert Wardell (Alma), Cindy Murdoch, Sue Wilford and her husband Dan and mother-in-law of Vicky Wardell. Cherished grandmother of B. J., Lindsay, Justin, Billie Jo, Melissa, Jeff, Michael, Matt, and great-grandmother of Devan, Justin, Seth, Emily, Alex, Alexis, Aiden, Mya, Zoe, Lexi, and Zach. Dear sister of Barb Mortimer and her late husband Morris, Betty McDermott and her husband Bill, late Grace McCafferty and her husband Norm, Bill Elliott (deceased) and his wife Marie, sister-in-law of Marlene Wardell and her late husband Gene. Predeceased by her infant son Mark Wardell, and parents John and Margaret Elliott. Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock on Wednesday December 16th 2015 from 7-9 pm, where the Funeral Liturgy will be held in the chapel on Thursday December 17th 2015 at 11:30 am with Father Richard Dales officiating. Interment at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
