NEWELL, Verna Marie - Passed away on Saturday July 30th, 2016 at Woodstock Hospital, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Ralph E. Newell (1991). Dear mother of Julie (Rick) Harwood, Nancy (Tom) King, Wendy (Grant Barnard) Newell. Loved grandmother to Chris (Rachel), Greg (Lisa), Sarah (Rob), Ryan (Jackie), Matt, Samantha and great grandmother to Charlotte, Wesley, Tatum, Leila, Rowyn, Caden, Hannah, Jack and Keyon. Loved sister of Donald (Helen) Avey and is survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her siblings; Lloyd (Ethel), Eileen and Keith. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock - 519-539-0004 on Wednesday August 3, 2016 from 7-9pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 am.
