JACKSON, Verna M. - At the Woodstock Hospital, on Saturday December 1st, 2012. Verna Mae Jackson (nee Smith) of Durham Cres. In her 89th year. Beloved wife of T. Riley Jackson. Dear mother of Tom (Beatrice) of Calgary AB., Gerry (Karen) of Brantford, and Kim (Denise) of Mitchell. Much loved grandmother of Debbie (Chris), Dianne, Melanie (Cenk), Nicole, Leslie (Matt), Matthew (Melissa), Kaileen, Jennifer, and Craig and great grandmother of Emily, Sarah, Jordyn, Elif, Cameron and Patrick. Survived by sisters-in-law Helen Smith and Evelyn Latford of Woodstock, Eva Esplen of Owen Sound, and brother-in-law Percy (Sylvia) Jackson of Woodstock. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and close friends. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Aurillia (nee Maycock) Smith, her sister Muriel Kelly and brother Bob Smith. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
