YEE - Peacefully with his family and friends at the Stratford General Hospital on Friday May 2, 2008. Vern G. Yee of Woodstock in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of S. Ping Yee for over 38 years. Dear father of Alan and his wife Annik of Orangeville, Karen Yee and her husband Terry Henhoeffer of Kitchener, Phillip and his wife Brandi of Woodstock and Melissa Yee and Norman James of London. Loved grandfather of Noah, Emilie, Jacob, Alexis and Cameron. Predeceased by his parents Woo Fat and Wai Lin Yee. Vern was the longtime owner/operator of the Gold Coin Restaurant in Woodstock for many years. Friends and relatives are invited to join with the family at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Wednesday May 7, 2008 after 12:00 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:30 pm.
